No, I don't think that my house is pretty (it really needs to have new wood/paint/additional sq. footage) neither do I think that I have a fantastic yard. But, I think it is coming along nicely. It takes years to get an established landscape...especially up here. Each year we acquire more tools to make things a little easier (next year it's a weed eater & lawnmower), we try new seeds, replace the plants that were supposed to survive the winter but didn't, and try to keep the weeds at bay.

If I could just have a field of wildflowers in the backyard I would be totally happy, but I live on a wetlands/forest...not going to happen.
