The dogs vs mama moose "face off" finally happened a couple weeks ago. I came downstairs and and she was about a foot off the fence with her nose down kicking and stomping everywhere. Obviously the dogs weren't really into that so they were acting a little crazy also. They both backed off when they figured out that neither of them could really get to each other (I'm hoping the moose never figures out that she can just go through the fence if she really wanted to). When I went out later and she had actually ripped up some of grass from where she was kicking around.
This is her eating my little shrub :) As you can see River is still on guard.
There's that cute little baby (she had twins...only 1 left now). Obviously that's why she's so protective.
